Coaching Agreement & Informed Consent

Nature of the Relationship

The Client(s) understand that The Braswellness Group provides coaching services, which are distinct from psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health therapy.

  • No Diagnosis: Coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental disorders as defined by the American Psychiatric Association.

  • Not Crisis Intervention: Coaching is a forward-focused, goal-oriented process and is not a substitute for professional mental healthcare.

  • Referral: If the Coach determines that clinical intervention is required (such as active trauma, clinical depression, or substance abuse), the Coach reserves the right to terminate coaching and provide a referral to a licensed professional.

Confidentiality & The "No-Secrets" Policy

In couples coaching, the "Client" is the relationship itself. The Coach follows a "No-Secrets" Policy. If one partner communicates information to the Coach individually that the Coach deems essential to the health and progress of the relationship, the Coach reserves the right to bring that information into a joint session.

The Coach will provide notice to the disclosing partner of the "secret" that will be discussed with the spouse/partner before any "secret" is discussed during a joint session.

Policies & Financial Terms

  • Session Formats: Home, office, non-distracting public setting, phone, or virtually via Zoom, Skype, Tango, Google, FaceTime, Messenger, etc.

  • Rates: $125.00 / hour due after each session. 15-minute increments billed at $31.25.

  • Cancellation Policy: 24-hour notice required. A $20.00 fee applies for missed or late-rescheduled appointments.

  • Assignments: Given to develop skills. If incomplete, we will strategize together during your session.

Disclaimer of Liability

Participant hereby employs The Braswellness Group for the purpose of supporting the Participant with respect to Participant's self-awareness, vision, goals, and strategic plans. Braswellness Group agrees to render such coaching services based on their experience in these matters.
